We keep data collection to a minimum.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter we store your email address, the optional travel month you choose, the page you signed up from and the date. We use it only to send you travel tips about Vietnam. We don't sell or share it. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send, or by contacting us, and we will delete your address.

Booking links

Some links to hotel and activity sites may be affiliate links: if you book, the partner may pay us a commission. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set cookies when you visit them.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful — for example how many people read a destination guide or use the season calendar. We don't run ads and advertising features are switched off.

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first: until you accept, Google Analytics does not set cookies (it may send cookieless, anonymous pings). You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
